Research & Educational Courses
Medical and Biomedical Education is a significant focus of the department. This includes undergraduate teaching such as the new program for Doctor of Medicine students, the Scholarly Selective, and postgraduate teaching for future surgeons as part of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Other undergraduate and research higher degree courses available in the department include a Bachelor of Science (B Sc Hons) and Bachelor of Biomedicine (B Biomed Hons) Honours , Master of Science (MSc), Master of Philosophy, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) courses, as well as Doctor of Medical Science (MD), and Master of Surgery (MSurg).
Research courses are also available to Clinicians and Junior Hospital Doctors and Surgical Trainees.
